AMC Part 1

A growing question bank with worked explanations, on your device.

About the Australian Medical Council Part 1 (MCQ) examination

The AMC Part 1 is a computer-adaptive multiple-choice examination assessing the medical knowledge of international medical graduates seeking registration in Australia. It covers adult health, women’s health, child health, mental health and population health, and is the first of the two AMC examinations.

Questions

How many questions does DuoVa have for the AMC Part 1?
A growing bank, each question with the full worked explanation and, where the source provides it, a note on why each of the other options is wrong. You can also turn any question you come across elsewhere — in a Telegram channel, a Facebook group, a half-remembered vignette — into a proper entry in your own bank.
Does DuoVa work without an internet connection?
Yes. The entire question bank is stored on your device. You can study on a plane, on a ward with no signal, or with mobile data switched off, and your progress is kept locally.
How does DuoVa decide what to show me next?
It uses FSRS spaced repetition, which schedules each question for the moment you are about to forget it, rather than showing everything at a fixed interval.
